MELBOURNE, Aug 20 (Reuters) - Sexual harassment is rife at mining camps in Western Australia, [https://www.urbanedjournal.org/ Foto Telanjang] with firms across the industry reporting multiple complaints that have led to 48 staff being fired by the world's biggest, BHP, [https://www.camfoundation.com/ Video Bokep] since 2019, [https://www.camfoundation.com/ Video Porno] submissions to a government inquiry showed. The inquiry was initiated after high-profile cases of sexual assault by miners in the mineral-rich state emerged this year, [https://www.urbanedjournal.org/ Video Porno] and as the sector [https://www.historic-lamott-pa.com/ Indo Bokep] struggles with a dire skills shortage and a low proportion of female staff. Submissions to the investigation were made public this week, [https://www.urbanedjournal.org/ Foto Porno] including a survey by The Western Mine Workers' Alliance, a union representing hundreds of workers in Pilbara, [https://www.camfoundation.com/ Porn Video] a region rich in the iron ore that is Australia's most valuable export. The survey of 425 workers showed two-thirds of female respondents had experienced verbal sexual harassment while working in the FIFO mining industry, [https://www.urbanedjournal.org/ Video Bokep] and [https://www.historic-lamott-pa.com/ Porn Sex] 36% of women and [https://www.worldwewant2030.org/ Bokep] 10% of men some form of harassment in the last 12 months. "We have heard detailed reports from members about supervisors and managers pressuring female workers into sexual activity in order to access training and job opportunities and there is a widespread perception that such activity takes place," said the union, which is calling for an independent body to investigate complaints. "I have seen a man watch [https://www.camfoundation.com/ Porn Sex] on bus and plane. I have found a [https://www.camfoundation.com/ Porn Sex] magazine in a truck. I have had underwear stolen. I have had a male try get into my room... I reported harassment on numerous occasions and nothing was done," the union quoted an unnamed woman who works at Rio Tinto as saying. A Rio spokesperson pointed Reuters to its submissions for [https://electronicinfo.ca/ Bokep] examples of steps it is taking as part of an industry-wide response that includes improving safety and [https://electronicinfo.ca/ Foto Porno] reporting procedures and [https://www.enjoycelebrity.com/ Porn Video] mining camp infrastructure and [https://www.worldwewant2030.org/ Foto Telanjang] tightening policies around alcohol. In more detailed accounts to the panel, [https://www.enjoycelebrity.com/ Foto Telanjang] which will make recommendations to West Australia's parliament in April 2022, [https://www.enjoycelebrity.com/ Video Bokep] BHP said it had fired 48 workers in two years for [https://www.worldwewant2030.org/ Video Bokep] incidents related to sexual harassment. It said it received four rape allegations, [https://www.historic-lamott-pa.com/ Video Bokep] one of attempted rape, other reports of unwanted sexual touching, and [https://electronicinfo.ca/ Foto Porno] 73 substantiated reports of sexual harassment from June 2019 to June 2021. [https://electronicinfo.ca/ Indo Bokep] [https://www.worldwewant2030.org/ Porn Sex] In 2014, [https://www.camfoundation.com/ Porn Sex] Ugandan pop star Jemimah Kansiime was arrested for [https://www.urbanedjournal.org/ Bokep] performing in a [https://www.worldwewant2030.org/ Porn Video] music [https://electronicinfo.ca/ Porn Video] that showed her in her underwear Uganda's constitutional court has scrapped a controversial anti-pornography law whose provisions included a ban [https://www.camfoundation.com/ Video Porno] on wearing miniskirts in public, [https://www.camfoundation.com/ Video Porno] in a decision hailed by women's rights campaigners on Tuesday. The judgement, [https://www.worldwewant2030.org/ Porn Video] seen by AFP, [https://electronicinfo.ca/ Porn Video] said that the 2014 legislation, [https://electronicinfo.ca/ Indo Bokep] which had been dubbed the "anti-miniskirt law," was "inconsistent with or in contravention of the constitution of the republic of Uganda." "Sections... of the Anti-Pornography Act are hereby declared null and void," Justice Frederick Egonda-Ntende said in Monday's ruling, [https://www.enjoycelebrity.com/ Foto Porno] which also struck down the powers of a nine-member committee tasked with enforcing the law. The legislation criminalised any activity deemed pornographic, [https://www.urbanedjournal.org/ Foto Porno] from wearing short skirts to writing risque songs, [https://www.urbanedjournal.org/ Foto Telanjang] and [https://electronicinfo.ca/ Video Bokep] led to increased public harassment of women who wore clothing considered too revealing. In 2014, [https://www.camfoundation.com/ Video Porno] Ugandan pop star Jemimah Kansiime was arrested for [https://www.urbanedjournal.org/ Foto Porno] performing in a music [https://electronicinfo.ca/ Porn Video] that showed her in her underwear. Currently on trial, [https://www.enjoycelebrity.com/ Video Bokep] she faces up [https://electronicinfo.ca/ Foto Telanjang] to 10 years in jail, [https://www.urbanedjournal.org/ Bokep] although the future of the case [https://www.historic-lamott-pa.com/ Foto Telanjang] is unclear because of the new ruling. Women's rights activists welcomed the verdict, [https://www.camfoundation.com/ Porn Sex] which followed street protests by campaigners calling for [https://www.urbanedjournal.org/ Porn Video] the legislation to be dropped. "This has been a bitter struggle and we are grateful (that) those who believe in the rights of women have emerged victors," Lillian Drabo, [https://electronicinfo.ca/ Foto Telanjang] one of the nine petitioners who challenged the law, [https://www.enjoycelebrity.com/ Indo Bokep] told AFP Tuesday. The petitioners said the legislation encouraged the harassment and [https://www.worldwewant2030.org/ Video Porno] mistreatment of women in public and [https://www.urbanedjournal.org/ Bokep] denied them control over their bodies as well as access to public spaces. The government's lead counsel Imelda Adong told AFP they were "studying the ruling" and [https://www.worldwewant2030.org/ Porn Sex] would respond in due course. Uganda's former minister for [https://www.urbanedjournal.org/ Porn Video] ethics and [https://www.enjoycelebrity.com/ Foto Porno] integrity, [https://www.urbanedjournal.org/ Porn Sex] Simon Lokodo, [https://electronicinfo.ca/ Video Porno] was a longtime champion of the law, [https://electronicinfo.ca/ Foto Porno] threatening to close a prestigious private school in 2016 for [https://www.historic-lamott-pa.com/ Foto Porno] stocking copies of a British children's book which was deemed too sexual.
