League of Legends has also been able to survive as a standalone game by maintaining a consistent, steady flow of new champions and map features.
League of Legends (LoL) is a free-to-play MOBA that has a wide array of free-to-play champions.
Game players take on the role of a Summoner who conjures and controls champions to fight for them at the Institute of War. I do recommend playing the single player mode, however, as the combat is challenging, the puzzles are fun, and the story keeps you interested.
I played this game for hours every night for about 6 weeks when it first came out, and I am still playing it.
The last 3 builds I was able to vote on didn't do it for me (maybe 1 of them but it was a weak one that didn't offer much to the gameplay).
Building these champions is called "champion select". Every bot will pick a champion and test it out. Other than that though, the plot and characters kept me playing for hours.
This game is the first JRPG I've ever played and I'm finding it really interesting. While this isn't the deepest or the most complicated rpg, it does manage to capture my interest.
Every team wants to build champions who will be the best in their role.
It's a time when the team picks their champion, and the game starts.
But other teams will want to build an offensive or defensive role based champ. Hi guys, it seems like a lot of builds here.
Some teams will take a look at which role they'd like to focus on and build that champion, but there is no need to subscribe to a specific game channel and you do not need to watch any specific replay.
It's still not a perfect game though. It is really good, if you like action. If they want a support, then they will pick a champion with CC that does well in teamfights, such as a kitty.
As for building the lvlan builds. There is no random element to what champions are picked, if there are enough to choose from.
If you miss it on the first attack, you will still have enough items on the passive for the next attack.
The fighting system is a bit frustrating at first and the enemies require some patience to get through. It's the same with lvlan.

LOL builds are much more common than lvlan builds. As an addition to the great answer provided by @Blaziken, each team builds a champion to excel at his role. You do not need to subscribe to a specific game channel and you do not need to watch any specific replay.
If you've ever watched or played Final Fantasy, then you'll have some idea what you're in for. Although Riot does need to add more champions and maps to the game to remain relevant, every new champion has provided a nice progression of gameplay styles and tactics that have helped league of legend build (Read Significantly more) of Legends expand the limits of what's possible in a multiplayer video game.

A bot is a computer program that plays the game. In lvlan, bots will use the champions they build to test out the champ in the game. How players develop and play their champions can be the difference between a crushing defeat or a glorious victory! I have played a good 10-12 hours worth of it, and I'm hoping to play even more.
Those are built by the bot/AI teams of the servers. Do you all actually watch the league of legends builds? So in teamfights we have an offensive champion, and we have an
offensive champion. For example some champs may have great cc, and some great engage. Bots are used to test if a champ works in lvlan. You will want to stack it up to 150% before attacking for the very first time as this will be the maximum your passive will be for the rest of the game.
I recommend it to fans of rpg's and anime fans alike.

I'm looking forward to LOL's next year but it'll have to be something amazing.
